  • On December 28, 2025, we submitted our Form I-600A. Application for Advance Processing of an Orphan Petition. This application is required document submitted to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) to determine our suitability and eligibility as prospective adoptive parents.

  • On November 24, 2025, Finally, our home study is officially approved after months of waiting! Thank you to everyone who has supported us along the way. We still have a long journey ahead, but this is a huge step forward. Our next step is one of the most meaningful, waiting to be matched with the child God has for us and applying for grants that will help us move closer to finally welcoming them home.

  • On September 24, 2025, still going through adoption agency online training for adoptive parents. This very interesting and helpful for us. 

  • On July 30, 2025, we are waiting for our home study to be approve. We are working with Commonwealth Catholic Charities, a local adoption agency here in Richmond, Virginia. On December 28, 2025, we submitted our Form I-600A 

  • On July 28, 2025, we signed the contract with Holt International, who will be our child placement agency for Taiwan. It was a big step forward in our journey, and we’re feeling both excited and humbled as we continue trusting God to guide every part of this process.
